Authors and Contributors

This page explains how Poly Track presents creator information from a legacy community archive snapshot. Poly Track is an independent fan-run editorial project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PolyTrack's original developers.

Track Creators

Creator information is evidence-bound. A creator can be marked confirmed, archive-listed, or unknown based on the available archive and source evidence. We do not invent names when attribution is unknown.

Community Recognition

We recognize the work contributed by community creators. When evidence supports a creator association, we preserve that context without claiming more certainty than the archive provides.

  • Confirmed creator attribution where direct evidence is available
  • Archive-listed creator names retained as archive evidence
  • Unknown attribution when evidence does not establish a creator

Technical Contributors

Platform Development: The site is maintained as an independent fan-run editorial project focused on useful track discovery. It does not host or embed the game.

Track Database Management: The legacy archive is distinct from the reviewed library. A page enters the reviewed library only after evidence governance supports its source, editorial context, and available attribution.

Quality Assurance: Reviewed pages are checked for useful guidance, evidence limits, and whether the editorial route context is worth publishing.

Creative Contributors

Evidence and editorial improvements can come from community reports, including:

  • Creator attribution corrections supported by evidence
  • Source and route-description corrections
  • Reports that distinguish archive data from confirmed information

Attribution Practices

We describe attribution according to the evidence available for each record:

  • Confirmed identifies evidence that supports a creator association
  • Archive-listed preserves a name supplied by the legacy archive without treating it as independently confirmed
  • Unknown means the record does not provide sufficient evidence for a creator name
  • Evidence-backed reports can lead to corrections or removals

Become a Contributor

You can provide source evidence or correction requests for consideration:

  • Source references that help establish an attribution record
  • Evidence-backed corrections to archive metadata
  • Reports of site or route-description issues

Visit our Contact page for submission guidelines and contact information.

Thank You

We appreciate creators and contributors who help correct the historical record. The site will keep attribution labels tied to available evidence rather than filling unknown fields with assumptions.
